Can you put health in capsules?

Nutrition can do more than just fill you up - this was already known 2500 years ago. The famous saying by Hippocrates - "Let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food" - sums it up perfectly.

Herbs, roots and spices have been used in all cultures and over many centuries for their special supportive properties for body and mind - for example to calm, strengthen or prevent. In those days, the whole plant was used because it was not yet known exactly which components were responsible for these positive effects.

From plant to active ingredient
This has changed fundamentally today. Modern research has made it possible to specifically identify the natural ingredients that are responsible for the health benefits of certain plants.
These valuable components are called bioactive substances. They can be found, for example, in turmeric root (curcuminoids), saffron (saffronale) or grape seeds (OPCs).
And today we can do even more: we are able to extract these substances in high concentrations, process them in a standardized way - and test in studies what contribution they can make to supporting health.

All these developments, which have rapidly gained momentum in recent decades, have revolutionized the potential of the healing power of plants.

"Let nutrition be your medicine and medicine be your nutrition"

Nutraceuticals - the new generation of plant-based active ingredients
Products are now being developed that are not only based on experience, but also on verifiable, scientifically documented results. Active plant substances that have been technologically optimized so that they are optimally absorbed by the body and demonstrably reach their destination in high concentrations.
+These highly specialized, targeted ingredients are called nutraceuticals - a combination of nutrition and pharmaceuticals. The term describes exactly what we are talking about: natural active ingredients from foods whose health benefits are scientifically proven - and which often come close to pharmaceuticals in terms of their functionality.

So can you put health in capsules?
Yes - you can. But only if you use the highest quality ingredients. As promising as the concept is, many products on the market do not deliver what they promise. They contain plant extracts in non-standardized form, without a defined content of active substances, without studies that prove their health benefits and safety.
These are yesterday's products that do not differ significantly from the whole plant as a remedy. However, if you set different standards and use high-quality, standardized, study-tested raw materials, then you can achieve something that would have been considered impossible just a few decades ago: to support our health gently but highly potently. This supportive, supportive therapy is the great opportunity of the new generation of plant substances - nutraceuticals. We can seize this opportunity by relying on the latest, best products that have been carefully evaluated scientifically. This enables customers to exploit the great potential of this new product class in natural medicine.
